MITZI HARRISON, PT, CHT

Mitzi Harrison

Physical Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist 

MITZI HARRISON has been a Physical Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist for 36 years. She is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, a Certified Specialist in Functional Assessment, and an APTA-Credentialed Clinical Instructor. She is also a specialist in custom fabrication of splints/orthoses for the hand and upper extremity. Mitzi provides evaluation and ergonomic assessment of injuries which affect the ability to keep or return to playing a musical instrument. She specializes in educating/ training, preventing, and managing musical practice/ performance related injuries and concerns. She applies a customized approach based on the specific instrument. Mitzi prioritizes ergonomics and injury avoidance.   Mitzi lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for 28 years where she established a thriving outpatient physical and occupational therapy business. After selling that business, she relocated to Colorado to be closer to family and her home state, Wyoming. Mitzi has a close working relationship with many of the top surgeons in and around the Front Range and the Denver Metro area. In addition to her hand therapy practice, she continues to work as a consultant in the field of hand therapy in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

VIRGINIA ARNETTE, PT, DPT

Virginia Arnette

Doctor of Physical Therapy 

DR. VIRGINIA ARNETTE earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Denver in 2018. She has extensive experience as an orthopedic physical therapist, treating individuals for overuse injuries, traumatic injuries, postoperative care and chronic pain. Dr. Arnette specializes in temporomandibular and craniofacial dysfunction, and is currently pursuing continuing education through the Cranio Facial Therapy Academy in order to provide expert level care to her patients. Virginia is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association including the Performing Arts Special Interest Group, and has advocated for musicians' wellness by educating clinicians and musicians alike about injury prevention and management. Prior to her physical therapist education, Virginia studied at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and earned her Bachelor’s degree in French Horn Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Virginia is a detail oriented clinician who strives to offer personalized and evidence based care to each patient. Outside of the clinic, Virginia enjoys spending time in nature with her husband Nadav and their dog Roo, and creating fiber art via punch needling and weaving.
